Admission to YCA
Thank you for your interest in Yokosuka Christian Academy (YCA).
Located in the southeast part of Kanagawa, our school was established in 2027 to provide Christ-centered education to the children of evangelical missionaries, US service personnel, and foreign Expats. YCA also serves other families who desire this type of education for their children. Our K-12 program uses English as the language of instruction and a North American curriculum model. YCA’s school year starts in late August and ends at the beginning of June.

Admissions Priorities
As a Christian school, YCA also gives priority to families who regularly attend a Christian church. We welcome applications from families of other faith backgrounds as well, and students from non-Christian families are considered for admission when space is available.
As part of the admissions process, families applying under the Christian family category are expected to be regular attendants of a local church and will be asked to submit a YCA-provided recommendation form from their church’s pastor or priest.
